How to install and configure free radius server in windows pc [ UPDATED 2023] | RADIUSDESK WIFI AUTH

 

Hello friends,  welcome to our channel , your help buddy.

Today I am going to show you how to install and configure a free radius server.

First, you have to download these two setup files. The download link is in the description box. 

First,  install VM ware virtualbox and then radius desk.

As I have already installed the software , here is the look.

Now you have to tweak some options in the settings menu. 

On the USB section , uncheck it and in the network section , the adapter one should be your Ethernet port that is connected to the router LAN port and adapter 2 should be another network , for me it is a Wi-Fi wireless adapter as I am using a laptop.

Now click on the start button and the virtual machine will start to run.

Now login to the radius desk using username and password.

Now check the IP address of server and open that IP in browser to configure it.

Here you have to login again and follow the steps exactly as shown in the video.

Now open your router login page in wireless settings, the authentication method should be wpa2 enterprise.

Now open radius settings and fill up the address.

You can create as many user as you want with different username and password for the same SSID.
